Accessing the
Keyword Explorer
- Navigate to the Google Ranking Tab:
- Click on the "Google Ranking"
tab.
- Select
"Keyword Explorer".
Creating a
Project
To use the Keyword
Explorer effectively, you need to create a project. Projects help
you organize and revisit your keyword lists.
- Creating
a New Project:
- Go to the homepage and click on "New
Project".
- Enter the project name and website URL.
- Click "OK" to create the
project.
- You can create multiple projects and share
them with coworkers.
- Creating a Project within Keyword Explorer:
- Click on
"Keyword Explorer".
- Enter the project name and website URL.
- Click "OK" to add the project.
Using Keyword Explorer for a Specific Project
- Selecting
a Project:
- Choose a project from the list (e.g., BBC
Recipes).
- Creating and Managing Keyword Lists:
- Click "Create New List" and
enter a list name (e.g., Pizza).
- Add keywords to the list by performing
searches and using operators.
- Adding
Keywords:
- Enter a keyword (e.g., Margherita Recipes)
and click the search icon.
- Use operators (AND, OR, NOT) to refine the
keyword list (e.g., Homemade Pizza).
- Click "Add All Keywords to List"
to add the keywords to your list.
- Viewing and Editing Keyword Lists:
- Click on the list overlay on the
right-hand side to view the list.
- Edit the list by deleting keywords with
low search volumes or adjusting based on SEO difficulty.
Filtering and
Exporting Keyword Data
- Filtering
Keywords:
- Use various filters to refine the keyword
list based on metrics like search volume, SEO difficulty, CPC, ads
competition, and more.
- Exporting
Keyword Lists:
- Export the keyword list to a CSV file by
clicking "Export".
- Ensure the list is unfiltered if you want
to export all keywords.
Additional
Features
- Operators:
- Use operators like AND, OR, and NOT to
include or exclude specific terms from your keyword list.
- Example: Remove "Italian" from
the list by using the NOT operator.
- Keyword
Metrics:
- Search Volume: The number of searches for the keyword.
- SEO Difficulty: The effort required to rank for the keyword
(scale of 0 to 100).
- CPC: Cost per click for ads related to the keyword.
- Ads Competition: Level of competition for ads.
- Google Trend: Popularity trend of the keyword over time.
- Last Seen: The last time the keyword was indexed by
YourTextGuru.
