    • Click on the "Google Rankings" tab.
    • Select the "Keyword Explorer" sub-tab to access the functionality.

Using the Keyword Explorer

There are two main ways to use the Keyword Explorer: a quick search for new keywords and creating a comprehensive list of keywords.

Quick Search for Keywords

  1. Entering a Keyword:
    • Enter your topic in the search bar (e.g., "pizza recipes").
    • Click "OK" to generate a list of keywords related to the topic.
  2. Keyword Information:
    • The table displays up to 25 keywords with information such as search volume, SEO difficulty, CPC, ad competition, lowest bid, highest bid, category, keyword features, number of words, trend, and last update.
  3. Refining Keywords:
    • Use the magnifying glass icon to refine your search and find related keywords.
    • Click on the arrow icon to view up to 10 additional keywords related to the selected keyword.

Using Operators

  1. Adding Operators:
    • Use "OR", "NOT", and "AND" to refine your keyword search.
    • Example: To find "pizza recipes" without "Margherita", use "pizza recipes NOT Margherita".
    • Example: To find results including both "pizza recipes" and "Margherita", use "pizza recipes AND Margherita".

Creating and Managing Keyword Lists

  1. Creating a Keyword List:
    • Select a project (e.g., BBC Good Food).
    • Create a new list (e.g., "Pizza") and start adding keywords.
  2. Adding Keywords to the List:
    • Click on the heart icon next to each keyword to add it to your list.
    • Use the "Add All Keywords" button to add all displayed keywords to your list at once.
  3. Managing the Keyword List:
    • Access the "Manage List" functionality to edit your list.
    • Delete unwanted keywords by selecting them and clicking on the delete icon.
    • Reload the page to see the updated list and keyword metrics such as SEO difficulty.
  4. Exporting the Keyword List:
    • Export your refined keyword list to a CSV file for further analysis and use.
