Internal Linking Suggestions

  1. Comparing Content:
    • The tool will analyze the semantic proximity between your new content and existing pages on your site.
    • Example: For "barbecue pork fillet," it may suggest links to pages like "how to cook a gammon steak," "barbecue ribs recipes," and "slow cooker recipes."
  2. Adding Links:
    • Based on the suggestions, add internal links from your new page to relevant existing pages.
    • Similarly, link existing pages back to your new content if relevant.

Best Practices for Internal Linking

  1. Finalize Content Before Analysis:
    • Ensure your content is finalized before running the analysis to get the most accurate linking suggestions.
  2. Optimize Existing Content:
    • Use the internal linking feature to not only link new content but also to optimize existing content by adding new links where appropriate.
